Celanese Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of differentiated chemistry solutions and specialty materials, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its Engineered Materials Business as a Global Supply Planning Manager.

This key role will be responsible for designing and executing a balanced global supply plan to support the company's strategic objectives and customer expectations. The successful candidate will work closely with global business leadership, finance, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction to regional supply planners to create monthly supply balances and ensure the global view meets business strategy.
  • Manage inter-regional flows, imbalances, and discrepancies to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Collaborate with the Global Business Director to develop business strategy based on supply capabilities and provide scenario analysis.
  • Lead regional planners in regular refreshes of stocking strategies, lead times, safety stocks, segmentations, and other key supply chain metrics.
  • Monitor working capital metrics, including Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) and Days of Inventory on Hand (DOH), and present projected plans, explain misses, and define actions to meet targets.
  • Develop an annual 5-year supply strategy plan to meet business growth projections and provide proposals for filling supply gaps.
  • Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet targets, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), DIO/DOH, inventory health, and production and warehouse capacity.
  • Support strategic projects, initiatives, tools, process changes, cost optimizations, and other business initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of related experience in supply chain management.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced planning/scheduling solutions preferred.
  • APICS certification and experience in a chemical/plastic compounding environment preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills required.
