Product Marketing Strategist

The Product Marketing Strategist will lead the strategic direction and market entry plan for significant product initiatives, focusing on unique destinations and new vessel launches in the coming years.
This role will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders throughout the organization, including senior management, to gather essential insights on destination development and new ship constructions, ultimately crafting a recommended marketing strategy based on key milestones and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with relevant internal Operations teams to establish a comprehensive timeline of all forthcoming product initiatives and their alignment with the overall brand strategy and market communication plan.
    Take ownership of all product-specific information and messaging, staying informed about new product launches and timelines.
    This will be achieved by developing a thorough understanding of the product pipeline, which includes new and updated exclusive destinations, new ships, and innovative experiences.
  • Direct the integrated marketing strategy for all product milestones, including destination development and new ship launches.
    This encompasses the creation of the communication strategy and framework for integrated campaigns to be executed across all pertinent marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with product development specialists across the operations team, including senior leadership from New Builds, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, etc., to craft a compelling narrative that can be transformed into a messaging brief for all internal teams to create marketing materials supporting product launches.
    Ensure that distinctive and proprietary assets are consistently utilized across campaigns to reinforce the brand with our audiences, even when discussing specific products.
  • Oversee the creation of assets that will serve as foundational materials for the marketing team to support channel-specific initiatives.
    In this process, develop insightful creative briefs considering the development of assets for all channels, both owned and paid.
    Establish foundational creative assets that can be adapted by individual marketing teams in support of specific product milestones.
    Additionally, understand and anticipate channel-specific needs to recommend optimal support and ensure all teams have the necessary visuals and messages.
  • Work with our creative agency to ensure all product communications align with the broader brand communication strategy and enhance the existing national plan in the market.
    This role will also collaborate with internal Creative Services and brief the team on key product moments requiring creative development and support across essential marketing disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
    Preferred fields of study include Business or Marketing.
  • 6+ years of experience in an advertising agency or managing an advertising agency is advantageous.
    Previous experience in brand or product management is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities.
  • Capability to build and nurture collaborative partnerships across functions and departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
    Manage direct reports with immediate feedback on performance and regular check-ins to review deliverables.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on planning, risk management, and budget oversight.
  • Ability to interact and present information succinctly and confidently to senior leaders.
  • Proficient in multitasking and delivering under pressure in a high-visibility role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of digital applications/platforms (e.g., mobile, web, tablet, and social media).
  • Knowledge of current and emerging trends in digital marketing and communication platforms.
  • Deep expertise in developing effective advertising campaigns.
  • Familiarity with media and creative analytics and experience in performance analysis.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role.
  • Ability to work in a temporary position.

Compensation: $65-$72 per hour, paid weekly.
