Position Summary:
Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,000 for the initial year. Base salary ranges from $54,000 to $62,000 annually, with semi-monthly payments. Commissions are distributed quarterly.
The Investment Management Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships within their designated region. As a vital member of Horizon's sales team, the Consultant collaborates closely with a Regional Director to enhance Horizon's market presence. A comprehensive understanding of Horizon's investment offerings and global market dynamics is essential for identifying potential leads and providing advisory support to both prospective and current clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach via calls and emails.
- Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns that address the current needs of Financial Advisors.
- Coordinate and conduct virtual meetings with Financial Advisors within the assigned region.
- Promote and encourage the use of Horizon's online advisor platform among Financial Advisors.
- Engage with influential networks to discover new opportunities and enhance Horizon's visibility.
- Assist existing clients by conducting model assessments and providing additional value.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director to analyze the territory for new opportunities and strategize accordingly.
- Encourage participation in Horizon events.
- Manage follow-up processes for leads generated from events in the territory.
- Act as a communication bridge between Financial Advisors and Horizon's Investment Management team.
- Stay updated on domestic and international market trends.
- Develop a strong understanding of market competitors and complementary product offerings.
- Monitor and document activities through the CRM system.
- Uphold the standards of the Sales Team and embody Horizon's core values.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team setting and independently.
- Self-driven and motivated to achieve sales targets in a dynamic environment.
- Confidence in driving sales initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly over the phone.
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with Independent RIA and B/Ds proprietary platforms and competitive landscape.
- Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Possession of FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63/65 or 66 licenses (or the ability to obtain these within four months).
