About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Stantec, a leading consulting firm in the water industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing sustainable solutions for water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preliminary and detailed structural analysis and design for water treatment plants, reservoirs, and other hydraulic containment facilities.
  • Design, analyze, and specify reinforced concrete, masonry, and structural steel systems and buildings.
  • Lead or support engineering teams responsible for evaluating, selecting, specifying, and engineering all structural engineered systems or products for a project.
  • Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
  • Prepare and coordinate project specifications with construction documents.
  • Assist in the development of new standards and specifications for the structural group.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and assist in project administration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Ohio licensed Professional Engineer required.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience.
  • Prior work experience with Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District preferred.
Work Environment

This is a typical office environment, with the possibility of working in person or virtually. Field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather.
