About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Representative to join our team as a Mid-Market Account Director, Government. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion within the State and Local Government sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our presence in the government market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of government customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless delivery of our solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of sales experience in the government or public sector, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with sales tools, such as CRM software, and ability to leverage data to inform sales strategies.
