Mid-Market Sales Representative

This remote opportunity is open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States or Canada. At VelocityEHS, we're seeking a highly skilled Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Mid-Market/SMB Sales team. You will be responsible for helping prospects achieve their EHS goals by utilizing our software platform. A passion for ensuring our customers' workers return home safely is essential. Your primary objective will be to acquire new Mid-Market/SMB level customers through a consultative sales approach, focusing on building strong relationships and identifying potential solutions. You must possess a strategic, consultative, and long-term relationship approach to selling, with the ability to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Mid-Market/SMB business customers to develop strong relationships and define their solution needs.
- Maintain knowledge of client requirements and company events, informing the VEHS team as necessary.
- Prioritize accounts and buyers within a territory based on ideal customer profiles and propensity to buy.
- Build and maintain an accurate pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Lead qualified prospects through the sales process, from discovery calls to demo and solution scoping.
- Manage opportunities and close deals within defined timeframes.
- Collaborate with internal partners on accounts, including Customer Success, Solutions Consultants, Renewals, Support, and Marketing.
- Assist with customer support and renewal as needed.
- Travel, present, and sell in trade show or event settings.
Requirements:
3-5+ years of closing, quota-carrying sales experience. Minimum 3 years of SaaS sales experience. Preferred skills include a BA/BS degree or equivalent, experience with the platform, and experience within the environmental health and safety industry.
