Receivables Management Specialist - Deductions

We are seeking a dedicated Receivables Management Specialist to enhance our team. This position focuses on addressing deduction challenges and ensuring the accuracy of customer receivables. The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication abilities. Collaboration with various departments and clients to validate claims and manage credit memos will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate invoicing discrepancies and analyze customer claims
  • Challenge invalid deductions and maintain communication with clients
  • Provide consistent updates to management regarding account conditions
  • Ensure the precision of claims for business units
  • Maintain weekly checklists and respond to inquiries within the established service level agreement
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Fundamental accounting knowledge and experience with ERP systems
  • Capable of adapting to changes and managing multiple tasks

Minimum Experience & Education:

  • 1-3 years of experience in high-volume Accounts Receivable and deduction resolution

Working Conditions:

  • Office or remote work environment with regular use of phone and computer
  • Initial training provided in the office before transitioning to remote work
