Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Management Specialist to join our team at The Staffing Resource Group, Inc. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining all aspects of the cost control effort on one or more of our larger, more complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate cost budgets and forecasts for projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Cost Reporting: Prepare and submit regular cost reports to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Project Controls: Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective project controls are in place, including cost management, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in cost management, project controls, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in cost budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, with knowledge of cost-processing systems like SAP, Contruent, EcoSys, etc.
  • Expertise: Expertise in Progress Measurement using EVM, including quantity-based EVM within partner work environments and financially based EVM.
  • Certifications: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
