Job Overview

Material Handling Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated Parts Sales Specialist. This role requires a motivated and efficient individual who can effectively assist our clientele with their parts needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts, process order requests, and facilitate over-the-counter sales.
  • Provide parts to service staff as requested.
  • Identify the make, model, and type of parts required. Guide customers on the necessary parts based on their descriptions or those provided by service technicians.
  • Explain the functionality and features of various parts.
  • Utilize catalogs, service manuals, or digital resources to find replacement part stock numbers and pricing.
  • Place orders with vendors to meet customer demands.
  • Generate invoices upon order completion.
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and numerical skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive or forklift parts.
  • Self-motivation is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
