About the Role
This Payroll Specialist position plays a vital role in supporting our organization's financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, handling employee record maintenance, and providing expert guidance on payroll-related matters. As a seasoned professional, you will bring extensive knowledge of payroll procedures, laws, and regulations, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire payroll cycle, from initial setup to final payment.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to update employee records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant employment laws, including FLSA and state-specific regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and correct errors, ensuring payroll integrity.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve payroll issues, minimizing disruptions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing staff concerns and queries promptly.
  • Liaise with external vendors and partners to facilitate smooth payroll transactions.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining high productivity levels.
  • Familiarity with time-tracking systems, such as ADP Workforce Now.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations, guidelines, and policies.
