Position Title: Production and Technical Operations Manager

Location: New York University

Job Overview:
As a key member of the Tisch School of the Arts, you will oversee the daily functions of the television studio environment. Your role will involve the formulation and execution of operational and creative guidelines to enhance the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement policies and practices that align with industry standards.
2. Conduct technical workshops and seminars, ensuring that training meets both industry and academic benchmarks.
3. Provide guidance to students on their productions, offering expert advice and solutions to complex challenges.
4. Supervise both technical staff and student employees, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television

Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in managing film or video production facilities, including budget oversight and staff management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: 3+ years in an academic or production setting.

Essential Skills:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to convey policies and procedures effectively across various levels.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment.
- Proficiency in a variety of production technologies, including studio equipment and lighting.

Compensation:
In compliance with applicable pay transparency regulations, the annual salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional incentives or bonuses.
