Position Overview:

We are currently seeking proficient Aerospace Structures and Sheet Metal Specialists to join our team in supporting a leading aviation services provider. This organization is recognized for its commitment to safety and operational efficiency in air travel, ensuring that every flight experience is seamless.

The Aerospace Structures and Sheet Metal Specialist plays a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of aircraft components and structural supports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate task completion to facilitate workflow for subsequent trades.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s core values, vision, and mission.
  • Exhibit proven skills and knowledge in the field of expertise.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.
  • Possess a solid foundational understanding of aircraft systems.
  • Enhance quality and responsiveness within the organization.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on aircraft under the guidance of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician.
  • Accurately document work in progress and complete necessary work cards.
  • Report any unserviceable equipment to the designated Lead A&P Technician.
  • Inform the Lead A&P Technician of any defects identified during maintenance activities.
  • Participate in training sessions as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members across the organization.
  • A&P Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
