Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications and blueprints
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Cut, shape, and bend metal using various tools and equipment, including shears, saws, and presses
  • Weld or join metal components using appropriate techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and dimensions, applying mathematical principles to metal fabrication
  • Operate cranes or other lifting equipment when necessary, ensuring safe and efficient material handling
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, shaping, and bending
  • Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Knowledge of ductwork assembly and installation
