Position Overview: As a Sustainable Energy Trainee, you will collaborate closely with project teams, gaining invaluable insights and practical experience in the field of renewable energy construction. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to build a career in this dynamic industry.

Internship Details: This is a paid internship opportunity. The position is based at our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Field Engineers, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors.
  • Participate in project meetings with team members and stakeholders.
  • Conduct safety and quality assessments.
  • Interpret and analyze project drawings and specifications.
  • Manage submittals, respond to RFIs, and generate reports.
  • Coordinate material logistics and documentation.
  • Assist in drafting memos, letters, meeting notes, contracts, and other essential documents.
  • Help with estimating and gathering information from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Contribute to project documentation and data entry tasks.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Represent AUI Partners with professionalism and integrity.
  • Deliver a presentation to the management team at the conclusion of your internship, sharing insights from your experience.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Travel to job sites may be necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or renewable energy/electrical engineering.
  • A strong interest in a career within the construction sector, particularly in renewable energy.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for full-time work during the internship and willingness to travel or relocate as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A valid driver's license and state minimum auto insurance are required for potential travel to job sites.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
