About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer Intern to join our Water/Wastewater team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Civil Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including drainage and stormwater analysis and design, water resources planning, and hydrology and hydraulic modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
  • Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water Resources projects
  • Perform drafting CAD work and calculations and analysis for design projects
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
  • Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
  • Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
Requirements
  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
  • Experience with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS is required
  • Great communication skills and solid relationship and team building skills
  • Self-motivated and strong organization skills
