Key Responsibilities- Energy Engineering and Management: Provide a wide range of energy engineering and energy management functions to support facility repair and construction activities.
- Design Review and Project Management: Provide design review comments and project management support to ensure that energy efficiency measures and water conservation measures are incorporated into all actions.
- Energy Savings Projects: Identify and develop energy savings projects to optimize the use of utility resources.
- Education and Experience: Possess one of the following combinations of education and experience: A four-year engineering degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer registration with a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management, or an Environmental Science, business or related degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in energy management, or a two-year technical degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in energy management, or no college degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in energy management.
- Certifications: Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is highly desirable.
