FleishmanHillard is on the lookout for a motivated intern passionate about research and strategic insights to join our TRUE Global Intelligence team. This position will be based in our San Francisco office, where our skilled analysts provide in-depth analytics, measurement, and insights to assist organizations in achieving their business goals. We delve into audience behaviors, communication channels, and content interactions to formulate actionable strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking and analyzing digital news narratives
  • Conducting secondary research utilizing online databases and various resources
  • Supporting qualitative and/or quantitative primary research initiatives, including survey data analysis, note-taking during focus groups or interviews, and writing comprehensive research reports
  • Contributing to media analysis projects by generating visual data representations in Excel and deriving insights from key findings
  • Managing multiple assignments while adhering to deadlines

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model, attending the San Francisco office weekly.
  • Availability to commit 40 hours per week for a minimum duration of 6 months.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher, with graduation anticipated no later than August 2024.
  • Academic or professional experience in primary research methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, or both).
  • Experience in secondary research, including literature reviews and media summaries.
  • A natural curiosity and eagerness to explore and learn.
  • Strong analytical and writing capabilities, with a knack for summarizing research findings effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • A collaborative spirit, capable of working within a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with dashboard creation or tools like Tableau/Power BI is a plus.
