Job Title: Shop Foreman/Manager

Our company, Automotive Aftermarket Services LLC, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman/Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and servicing of all vehicles taken in by the Service Department, while maintaining Technician productivity at levels determined by service management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge through the study of technical manuals, classroom training, and hands-on experience.
  • Provide technical and administrative training for Technicians in a classroom setting and on-the-job.
  • Assist Technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and review diagnostic results before major repairs are begun.
  • Personally quality check and road test the work performed on every vehicle with a major repair.
  • Administer pay for the technical staff according to company policies.
  • Meet with group leaders and the Service Manager to discuss shop production and administrative matters.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as directed by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in an automotive technical position.
  • 2+ years of experience as a team lead or previous foreman position.
  • Factory training credentials.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of dealership computer systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with the public and other dealership personnel.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and safe driving record.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Operator's Driver's License; State Inspection License.
