Job Summary

Nabors Industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality objectives and strategies to meet corporate policies and goals.
  • Administer and maintain the company's ISO 9001 and API Q1 programs, including internal audits, CAR and PAR processes, warranty programs, and recertification requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Site Lean Leader to drive continuous improvement within manufacturing processes and methodologies.
  • Lead Canrig Annual Quality Reviews and contribute to business unit quarterly performance reporting.
  • Support efforts to maintain third-party product requirements, such as ABS, DNV, API, and other applicable standards.
  • Oversee and participate in on-site customer, API, and third-party audits.
  • Responsible for overseeing and ensuring effective outcomes of part and/or product failure analysis, including receiving and processing failure reports, conducting thorough investigations, determining root cause, eliminating or reducing risk, and assessing impact through the supply chain and to the end-use customer.
  • Ensure quality records are collected and stored according to documented procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in science, industrial technology, or industrial technical preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a quality management role.
  • Minimum of 10 years of oil and gas industry experience.
  • Experience managing ISO 9000 and API systems.
  • Experience as a lead quality auditor.
  • Experience leading both quality assurance and quality control organizations.
  • Certified Six Sigma.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
