Job Title: Shop Foreman/Manager

Join Automotive Aftermarket Services LLC as a Shop Foreman/Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and servicing of all vehicles taken in by our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge through study of technical manuals, classroom training, and hands-on experience.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical and administrative training for technicians, and assist them in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
  • Quality Control: Personally quality check and road test vehicles with major repairs, and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist the service sales staff in documenting repair orders, administer pay for technical staff, and perform various administrative tasks as directed by management.
  • Shop Maintenance: Keep shop equipment in safe operating condition, and stay informed about new equipment available in the marketplace.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years in an automotive technical position, with 2+ years as a team lead or previous foreman position.
  • Certifications: Factory training credentials.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient knowledge of dealership's computer systems, and ability to collaborate with the public and other dealership personnel.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Operator's Driver's License; State Inspection License.
