Are you ready to explore new possibilities? Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Logistician to become part of our dynamic team.


This position will be based in Chantilly, VA, supporting the SIGINT Technology Center's (STC) Diadem and Alchemy teams.

The STC represents the convergence of technology and collaboration to address the distinct requirements of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense.

The STC encompasses multiple mission-oriented programs, with initiatives ranging from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) SIGINT payload and data link development to mission and maintenance support both domestically and internationally.

STC responsibilities include system design, engineering development, system integration, hands-on assembly and testing, operations and maintenance, training, and production.


This role will require regular coordination with Program Management, the Engineering team, Engineering and Science (E&S) Management, Customers, Subcontractors, Global Supply Chain (GSC), Configuration Management (CM) Analysts, and other support functions to ensure all logistical program requirements are fulfilled within the STC.


Key Responsibilities:
SharePoint Administration and Management

Oversee and implement each program's SharePoint database

Includes data entry, backend process development, custom visualization instances, and data export for client delivery, among others.

Manage user permissions, create lists, oversee workflows, and maintain program calendars.

Hardware and Material Oversight

Supervise the tracking of all hardware and materials owned by the programs, the STC, and Northrop Grumman.

Asset Management - System Equipment LRUs Tracking, Infrastructure Equipment, Test Equipment, Capital Equipment Processing, Physical Inventories.

Inventory Management - System Material Tracking/Inventory, Physical Inventories at both Northrop Grumman sites and customer locations (in coordination with local representatives).

Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Tracking

Document all changes in SharePoint as necessary.

Maintenance and Repairs Tracking

Failure Tracking/Analysis

Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) Tracking/Analysis

Spares Tracking/Analysis

Document all changes in SharePoint as necessary.

Shipments

Collaborate with Shipping and Receiving personnel (Northrop Grumman, vendors, and customers) to coordinate all required shipments; both inbound and outbound.

Ensure shipments are appropriately packaged and that the correct documentation is submitted to the customer as required.

Ensure equipment is properly stored at our facility after receipt.

Document all changes in SharePoint as necessary.

Procurement:
Adhere to all Northrop Grumman and STC standards for purchasing items for programs.

Work closely with Programs and GSC to ensure that the correct parts are ordered and delivered by the required deadlines.

Execute program RMA for any failures or repairs.

Document all changes in SharePoint as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University OR 1+ years of experience with a Master's Degree from an accredited University OR 7+ years of experience in a relevant field.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Detail-oriented and capable of adhering to established processes.


Experience in the logistics field, including familiarity with U.S. Government supply chain processes and shipping Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in compliance with U.S. government import/export regulations.

Ability and willingness to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite).

Must be able to work during specified core work hours.

Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 30-50 lb.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SharePoint.

Proficient with collaboration systems that include workflow applications, list databases, Power Apps/Automate.

Experience with Jira or other Agile Process Methodologies.

Experience with SolidWorks PDM or other Product Data Management tools.

Familiarity with processing Return Material Authorization (RMA) and knowledgeable in processing shipments of repairable assets to Source of Repair and/or Government disposal.

Active Security Clearance, TS/SCI.

Salary Range:
$65,600 - $98,400


The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
