Sales Territory Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Territory Manager to join our team at American Welding & Gas, an employee-owned company headquartered in Raleigh, NC.
As a Sales Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing a sales territory and growing revenue through strategic sales initiatives. You will work closely with our Sales VP to establish benchmarks and track progress towards sales goals.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in the industrial gas industry. A bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience is also preferred.
This role offers a competitive salary estimated to be around $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
The job description includes:
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Managing existing customer accounts to minimize working capital investment and financial risk
- Intake calls from customers for new orders or resolving emergency orders
- Growing sales with customers through telemarketing of other products
- Utilizing CRM platforms for planning, scheduling, and professional time management
The qualifications and requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree or industry experience preferred
- 1-3 years of previous sales experience
- Knowledge of welding and gas products strongly preferred
- Industrial sales experience strongly preferred
