Job Description

HTX Material Handling is seeking a highly skilled Material Handling Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our premium lift trucks and related material handling equipment to existing and potential customers in the assigned territory. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong sales and customer relationship skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and grow revenue in the assigned territory.
  • BUILD STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS by providing excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize market knowledge and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align sales efforts with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular sales calls on assigned customers and prospects to promote and sell products.
  • Provide sales support and training to internal stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical sales discipline.
  • Previous sales experience in the material handling industry, preferably in a territory management role.
  • Strong sales and customer relationship skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, internal stakeholders, and other external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing sales priorities and customer needs.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
