Lead Custodial Supervisor, Event Facilities

Comcast is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Custodial Supervisor to oversee the cleaning and maintenance operations within our premier event facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that our venues maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, contributing to an exceptional experience for all visitors.

Position Overview

The Lead Custodial Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing the building services team, assigning tasks, and conducting thorough inspections of all areas following events. This position typically involves supervising a team of at least two full-time staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of all facility areas to verify cleanliness after events.
  • Ensure that staff members are equipped with the necessary tools and supplies for efficient performance.
  • Monitor staff uniform compliance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through a detailed supervisory checklist.
  • Manage employee documentation, including attendance records and performance evaluations.
  • Discuss any operational issues with the evening manager prior to post-event cleaning.
  • Exhibit regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a custodial environment, preferably within a unionized setting.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
  • Knowledge of custodial equipment such as buffers, vacuum cleaners, and other cleaning machinery.
  • Ability to effectively supervise and evaluate staff performance in housekeeping tasks.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Relevant Work Experience
