Lead Business Process Strategist

The Senior Manager of Business Processes will oversee the comprehensive management of business processes for Emerson's Isolation Valves (ISV) Business unit on a global scale. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction for ISV's configurators, ensuring continuous enhancement through user and business unit feedback, and managing the prioritization of new developments and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both strategic and technical leadership for the product configurators within the Isolation Valve Business Unit.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize user feedback to foster ongoing improvements for product configurators.
- Oversee the roadmap for configurator development and enhancements.
- Facilitate the deployment of configurators across various global regions as part of the business unit's transformation initiative.
- Lead the transition of configurator programming from Oracle Configurator Developer to Configit.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration to support continuous improvement of the configurators.
- Direct and prioritize the workload of the configuration development team.
- Maintain and manage training materials and functional documentation related to configurators.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to managing expectations and adapting to evolving conditions. They will be recognized as a top performer and will possess a diverse range of technological expertise to enhance organizational outcomes. Key qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering or Information Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in developing and refining business processes in conjunction with IT solutions for a global audience.
- Familiarity with product configuration technologies, specifically Configit or Oracle OCD, and understanding of engineering product structures.
- Proven ability to manage time-sensitive issues in complex business environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as necessary (up to 20%).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
