Position Overview – Compliance Strategist

The Compliance Strategist is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Bank's compliance programs in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role involves educating relevant personnel, senior management, and the Board of Directors about compliance obligations. The Compliance Strategist will also conduct compliance training for the bank's workforce and liaise with independent compliance auditors and regulatory examiners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration of the Compliance Program.
  • Maintain and update the Bank's compliance documentation, leveraging modern technology.
  • Act as the in-house authority to provide compliance guidance to all Bank personnel.
  • Collaborate with management on the development of new products and modifications to existing offerings.
  • Review and revise policies and procedures under the direction of senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Coordinate the annual compliance audit process.
  • Work with management to address compliance deficiencies and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Evaluate advertisements and new products for compliance adherence.
  • Oversee the Bank's BSA Officer and manage the BSA Policy and program.
  • Serve as the Bank's CRA officer.
  • Conduct compliance testing across all Bank operations.
  • Regularly review compliance activities, issues, and regulatory updates with the Bank's Board of Directors.
  • Oversee and implement training programs for employees and directors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
