Position Overview:

We are excited to announce an opening for a Legal Support Center Operator in our Cleveland office. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility for remote work.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a varied role, supporting different practice groups and engaging in diverse tasks daily. Our Legal Support Center Operators collaborate closely with legal assistants and attorneys, providing essential support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively manage workflow within the designated system.
  2. Review assignment instructions to ensure accurate production.
  3. Meet document deadlines and communicate any potential issues to supervisors.
  4. Verify assignments for necessary supporting materials and information.
  5. Edit and format documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  6. Transmit and receive documents via scanning and email.
  7. Import documents into the management system as required.
  8. Prepare and send faxes and emails as needed.
  9. Photocopy documents and prepare mail for dispatch.
  10. Provide legal assistant support, including transcribing dictation and drafting various documents.
  11. Manage correspondence and maintain organized files and records.
  12. Schedule and confirm appointments proactively.

Additional Duties:

  1. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  2. Coordinate courier services for package delivery when necessary.
  3. Assist with various legal assistant tasks as needed.
  4. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Confidentiality:

Due to the sensitive nature of the information handled, maintaining confidentiality is paramount.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma and relevant experience in a legal support role. Proficiency in processing legal documents and strong proofreading skills are essential. Familiarity with software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is advantageous. A commitment to excellent customer service is required.
