Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, ensuring the smooth operation of our litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client service orientation, greeting guests, responding to work requests, scheduling meetings, and conducting telephone conferences.
  • Offer proactive administrative support to Litigation attorneys and paralegals, assisting in other practice areas as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of matters and information.
  • Respond to requests with a sense of urgency and effectively prioritize work.
  • Interact with court personnel, attorneys, and staff in a professional manner to obtain and provide data, answer questions, and resolve problems.
  • Prepare and review letters and memoranda according to Firm standards using word processing and document management systems.
  • Proactively monitor deadlines.
  • Process requests for payment and reimbursements.
  • Create, maintain, and retire files in accordance with Taft's Information Governance Policy.
  • Assist in managing client contacts, emails, and print documents as well as processing mail.
  • Clearly communicate in a concise, professional manner.
  • Transcribe dictation.
  • Files documents with courts electronically.
  • Draft documents and filings.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • Proficiency with Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, LMS+, iManage, or equivalent programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of the litigation process and general court operations.
  • Ability to read and identify pleadings and other documents related to a litigation matter.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years' Litigation legal assisting experience in a law firm or other legal setting.
  • Education beyond high school or coursework related to the legal industry preferred.
What We Offer

LHH Recruitment Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
