Job Title: Block Advisors Tax Advisor

Job Summary:

As a Block Advisors Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and small businesses navigate complex tax and business service needs. You will build strong relationships with clients, providing expert tax preparation, audit support, and tax planning services year-round. With a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences, you will leverage your tax expertise to drive business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through face-to-face and virtual interactions.
  • Provide comprehensive tax preparation, audit support, and tax planning services to clients.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention through the sale of additional products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all client work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement in tax expertise and client service.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of tax experience, with a focus on individual tax returns and tax planning.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, both in person and virtually.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
