Qualifications:

A degree in Accounting or Business Administration is highly regarded, alongside a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional background. CPA or EA certification is preferred, or candidates should be actively pursuing these credentials.

Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in preparing Federal income tax returns and addressing individual and business-related inquiries with the IRS.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Federal tax regulations, payroll obligations, and the accounting cycle, including financial reporting and bookkeeping.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with a focus on effective interaction with clients and teamwork.
  • Self-motivated and organized, capable of meeting various deadlines for timely tax return completion.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Thomson Reuters' Ultra Tax Software is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. tax regulations concerning business tax filings (1120S, 1120, and 1065) and individual tax returns.
