Position Overview:

  • Support Financial Advisors in managing client relationships, including the preparation of financial strategies, conducting investment analysis, and executing client transactions.
  • Process orders as directed by Financial Advisors and assigned clients. Address inquiries regarding general market data, including quotes and news, as well as trading features like GTC expiration dates and settlement processes.
  • Handle corporate actions requiring licensure, such as tender offers, optional dividends, and the exercise of warrants and rights.
  • Coordinate client meetings, maintain data in SalesForce, create agendas and summaries, organize marketing events, and perform general administrative duties.
  • Optimize the Financial Advisor's schedule to enhance appointment productivity by reducing travel time and anticipating the necessary duration for presentations and client inquiries.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities by reaching out to potential investment clients based on internal leads. Utilize product and industry knowledge to recognize existing client attributes that indicate sales potential.
  • Provide operational support to Financial Advisors, covering areas from systems navigation to document management.
  • Ensure accurate submission of new business paperwork, including preparing forms for client presentation, obtaining necessary signatures, and following up on new account documentation.
  • Reduce risk through proper authentication protocols, including verifying incoming and outgoing client communications. Required to conduct authentication callbacks for high-risk transactions.
  • Execute and manage specific operational requests as directed by the Financial Advisor or client, which may include fund distributions, check deposits, account updates, and other operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Advisor to review and address critical reports, such as insufficient funds for periodic distributions and unmet RMDs.
  • May assist with branch operational needs, including general maintenance or service requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training.
  • Experience in the securities sector and/or in a sales support role.
  • Familiarity with securities markets and brokerage accounts.
  • Possession of FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses. Candidates with at least Series 7 or Series 66 will be considered and can obtain the additional license during employment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly over the phone, with the ability to engage clients of varying experience levels regarding securities transactions.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, management, and team members.
  • Competence in evaluating, assimilating, and utilizing complex written and verbal technical information.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office products.
