Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Sojitz Corporation of America, Inc. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR staff, ensuring the smooth execution of department procedures and employee programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files, records, and documentation.
  • Process payroll and benefits-related general ledger entries.
  • Administer accounts payable for the HR and General Affairs departments.
  • Support employee time and attendance system administration.
  • Provide HR systems support, including user creation and troubleshooting.
  • Process manual checks and ACH payments.
  • Assist with benefits meetings, including Open Enrollment and committee meetings.
  • Support Affordable Care Act reporting and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission submissions.
  • Administer 401(k) plans and ensure accurate and timely funding.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree desirable but not required.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel is essential.
  • Knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Basic knowledge of employee benefits is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of administrative support experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Concur, and Microsoft Office products is strongly preferred.
