Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, building relationships with small business owners, and generating new loan applications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization and contribute to our mission of promoting economic development and financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans to drive business growth and meet funding goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with small business owners, financial executives, and other centers of influence to identify new opportunities and generate leads.
  • Utilize knowledge of loan products, educational resources, and other services to build trust and credibility with clients and drive loan applications.
  • Proactively develop and leverage profitable connections with Centers of Influence (COIs), Bankers, and Lendistry-approved Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs or commercial brokers) to drive funded credit referrals.
  • Deliver sales presentations to potential borrowers and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and effective loan processing and customer service.
  • Participate in community activities and networking events to promote Lendistry's mission and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field and 7 years of experience in small business and commercial lending, or 15 years of experience in small business and commercial lending.
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in Salesforce and other CRM systems.
  • Strong business acumen, with knowledge of business fundamentals and the ability to perform basic analysis of financial statements and tax returns.
What We Offer

Lendistry offers a competitive salary range of $93,600 - $119,300 annually, depending on experience and location.
