Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team at the AC Hotel Downtown in Kansas City, MO. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests, register them into the computer, and provide accurate and timely information and services.
  • Communication: Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns.
  • Check-in/Check-out: Process guest arrivals and departures, handle room assignments, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
  • Cash Handling: Accept payment for guests' accounts, maintain a house bank, and make deposits and accurate reports of receipts daily.
  • Problem Resolution: Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints and concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer skills.
