POSITION SUMMARY
We are in search of a driven and knowledgeable Medicare Sales Consultant to become a part of our energetic call center team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Medicare offerings, outstanding communication abilities, and a genuine desire to assist clients in navigating their healthcare options. As a Medicare Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to promote Medicare insurance plans to prospective clients, providing comprehensive information and ensuring they are well-informed to make the best choices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Manage inbound and outbound sales communications with potential Medicare clients.
- Educate clients on various Medicare products and services, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate Medicare plans.
- Follow up with prospective clients to address inquiries and provide further information.
Consultation and Support:
- Conduct detailed needs assessments to identify the specific requirements of each client.
- Clearly explain plan benefits, coverage options, and enrollment procedures.
- Assist clients with the enrollment process, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
Compliance and Ethical Standards:
- Comply with all federal and state regulations related to Medicare sales and marketing.
- Stay informed about Medicare guidelines and compliance obligations.
- Conduct all sales activities in an ethical and compliant manner.
Data Management:
- Accurately document and maintain client information within the company's CRM system.
- Monitor and report sales performance metrics to management.
- Keep organized records of client interactions and sales activities.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and objectives.
- Engage in regular training sessions and team meetings.
- Share best practices and insights to enhance overall team effectiveness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of sales experience, ideally in a call/contact center focused on Medicare products.
- Active Texas Health and Life Insurance License.
- Released from all Medicare contracting.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
