POSITION OVERVIEW
We are on the lookout for a driven and knowledgeable Medicare Insurance Consultant to become a part of our vibrant call center team. The perfect candidate will have a solid grasp of Medicare offerings, outstanding communication abilities, and a genuine desire to assist clients in discovering the best healthcare options. As a Medicare Insurance Consultant, your role will involve marketing Medicare insurance plans to prospective clients, providing comprehensive information, and ensuring they are well-informed to make educated choices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Manage incoming and outgoing sales inquiries from potential Medicare clients.
- Inform clients about Medicare products and services, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans.
- Assess client needs and suggest appropriate Medicare plans.
- Follow up with potential clients to address inquiries and provide further details.
- Perform comprehensive needs assessments to identify each client's specific requirements.
- Clearly explain plan benefits, coverage options, and enrollment procedures.
- Guide clients through the enrollment process, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
- Comply with all federal and state regulations related to Medicare sales and marketing.
- Stay informed about Medicare guidelines and compliance obligations.
- Conduct all sales activities ethically and in accordance with compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of client information in the company's CRM system.
- Monitor and report sales performance metrics to management.
- Keep organized documentation of client interactions and sales efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and objectives.
- Engage in regular training sessions and team meetings.
- Share insights and best practices to enhance overall team effectiveness.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 2 years of sales experience, ideally in a call/contact center with a focus on Medicare products.
- Active Texas Health and Life Insurance License.
- Released from all Medicare contracting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
