Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range for this position reflects a nationwide market range and encompasses a broad spectrum of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary will be influenced by various factors, including the complexity and location of the role, as well as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience. Additionally, employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

What Is the Opportunity?
The Business Insurance (BI) Sales Center offers a market-leading alternative distribution model, utilizing a team of sales professionals to engage directly with customers and secure new business accounts on behalf of our valued agency partners.
As a Sales Associate Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor for our agents and customers, collaborating with key business partners to secure and retain optimal business for our portfolio.
You will be part of a dynamic team, striving to achieve business goals and objectives while receiving mentorship that will empower you to reach your full potential.
What Will You Do?
- Successfully complete the training curriculum within 90 days.
- With guidance, become proficient in managing accounts throughout the sales cycle, including rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies.
- Exercise critical thinking and decision-making skills by synthesizing multiple sources of information.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes, products, and the sales culture to become a trusted advisor.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners, agents, and customers, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Execute service level agreements and deliver quality products and services by leveraging standardized workflows and business resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- One year of sales experience.
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty products and services, preferably in Business Insurance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to various audiences.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology, including navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
- Organizational and time management skills, capable of handling shifting priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
What is a Must Have?
- High school diploma or GED.
- As a condition of employment, all employees in this position must obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty Commercial Lines insurance license in their state of residence, as well as non-resident licenses in all states where they will conduct business. Employees will have three opportunities to pass the required licensing exams.
