Role Objective

The Chief Executive Officer will play a crucial role within the organization, reporting directly to the Founder and steering the company's strategic direction. This individual will be tasked with developing marketing and sales strategies, overseeing public relations, and ensuring the company's operations are efficient and profitable.

We seek a visionary leader with a proven track record in advancing business initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in orchestrating marketing efforts, driving sales growth, and leading a team. They must be adept at representing the company in public forums and fostering robust relationships with business partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy: Formulate and implement marketing initiatives to attract clientele and achieve the company's objectives.
  • Public Relations: Manage the company's public image and media interactions, occasionally serving as the spokesperson.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute events that highlight the company's offerings, ensuring successful execution and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Sales Strategy: Create comprehensive plans for product sales across various channels, aiming to meet financial and performance targets.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Build and mentor a sales team, establish sales objectives, and guide the team towards achieving these goals.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to foster company growth while aligning with strategic goals.
  • Client Relations: Maintain relationships with key clients and explore new sales opportunities by understanding customer needs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensure efficient supply chain operations, from product acquisition to inventory management and customer delivery.
  • Market Research: Monitor industry trends, analyze competitor activities, and leverage insights for informed business decisions.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the company's financial health, including budgeting and ensuring prudent financial practices.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the tobacco sector or other regulated industries such as wine & spirits or cannabis.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on marketing and sales.
  • Strong public speaking and relationship-building skills.
  • Adept at financial management and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication abilities and effective team leadership.
  • Adaptability to evolving market conditions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
