Join an innovative and prestigious AmLaw 200 firm with eight dynamic offices across Florida as our new Chief Operating Officer We're looking for a visionary leader to drive operational excellence and shape the future of our firm. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by overseeing the day-to-day administrative and management functions, aligning them with the firm’s strategic goals set by the Executive Committee.Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead all management functions, including financial management, personnel, information services, and facilities. Your leadership will be key to optimizing the performance of our Finance, Accounting, Billing, Records, Business Intake, Facilities, Legal Support Services, and IT departments.
  • Collaborate directly with the Firm Managing Partner, Executive Committee, and Practice Group leaders to set and implement firm-wide policies, goals, and objectives. Your insights will guide our long-term planning, strategic initiatives, and response to regulatory changes.
  • Partner with the Chief Financial Officer to create and manage budgets that support firm growth and innovation. You'll play a crucial role in financial analysis, maximizing investments, and ensuring financial stability.
  • Work alongside our Chief Information Officer to harness cutting-edge technologies that boost operational efficiency and support our growth objectives. Your vision will help us stay ahead of the curve in a fast-evolving market.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop and implement impactful marketing and business development strategies that elevate our practice groups and individual attorneys.
  • Oversee contract negotiations with vendors, manage lease terms, and lead construction and office space relocations. Your negotiation skills will be vital to our operational success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; MBA preferred.
  • At least 10 years of executive management experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership.
  • Strong understanding of business management principles, including economic and accounting practices.
