Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze client accounts to determine the best course of action for collections.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and implement effective collection strategies.
  • Communicate with clients to secure timely payments and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide detailed records of all collection activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
  • Work closely with the Collections and Practice teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Assist with researching and resolving client deductions and unapplied credits.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Billing and Finance, to ensure accurate and timely collections.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Collections Specialist in the legal or professional services industry.
  • Previous experience at a law firm and interfacing with partners and clients is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
