Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Division Financial Controller to oversee financial operations in a dynamic environment. This pivotal leadership role will report directly to the Corporate Controller / CFO.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Division Financial Controller, your duties will include:

  • Overseeing the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Managing the annual budget process, including reviewing and analyzing budget proposals.
  • Preparing Job Status Reports and providing in-depth analysis on project performance and financial metrics.
  • Delivering accurate revenue projections to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinating with external auditors and managing the audit process to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Leading and mentoring finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with department heads to align financial management with operational objectives.
  • Identifying and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Division Financial Controller role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management capacity, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.
  • Proven track record in budget preparation, internal controls, and revenue projections.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
