Role Summary

The Financial Operations Associate plays a crucial role in managing financial data entry, transactional processing, and overall financial operations. This position encompasses vendor coordination, bank statement reconciliation, and both accounts payable and receivable functions. It serves as an entry-level opportunity within the finance department, paving the way for career advancement in financial management.

In alignment with our dealership's commitment to outstanding customer service and ethical practices, the Financial Operations Associate is expected to collaborate effectively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts and incoming payments in accordance with established financial policies.
  • Conduct daily financial transactions, including verification, classification, computation, posting, and recording of accounts receivable data.
  • Prepare invoices, billing statements, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate payment posting.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries regarding payments.
  • Facilitate timely payment of invoices by sending reminders and contacting clients.
  • Generate reports to provide insights into accounts receivable status.
  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable.
  • Review and reconcile discrepancies in invoices.
  • Conduct statement reconciliations.
  • Handle DMV processing and inventory reconciliation.
  • Submit warranty claims and verify prorated refunds.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries professionally.
  • Manage cash application processes.
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, document processing, filing, and scanning.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable roles.
  • Strong data entry and mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet applications and accounting software.

Requirements:

Compensation:

  • Hourly Range: $23.00, non-exempt hourly, based on experience.
