JOB OVERVIEW: SAIC is in search of a seasoned program coordinator to deliver comprehensive programmatic assistance to a pivotal department-level front office engaged in significant research and development efforts. This office works collaboratively with mission partners to explore innovative technologies aimed at enhancing future mission capabilities in a rapidly evolving environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate will provide direct support to the Customer chief of staff and undertake various programmatic functions to facilitate efficient daily operations within the front office. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with stakeholders regarding departmental and branch deliverables, activities, and requirements.
  • Monitoring, assigning, and coordinating tasks with branch-level points of contact through the Customer's official tasking system.
  • Managing priority actions for the chief of staff and other front office personnel.
  • Overseeing personnel management tasks such as roster maintenance and space allocation, including check-in/check-out processes.
  • Ensuring prompt completion of Customer activities and requests.
  • Handling office management tasks, including procurement through customer databases, resolving VTC/phone issues, managing property disposal, coordinating off-site events, and assisting with office relocations and renovations.
  • Providing ad hoc support and resolving issues as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required qualifications include:

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience of four years may substitute for a degree) and a minimum of 14 years of related experience; a master's degree with 12 years of experience; or a PhD or JD with at least 9 years of experience.
  • A proven track record of supporting the customer in planning, executing, and monitoring team initiatives and deliverables.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to customer support.
  • Exceptional coordination skills with the ability to foster strong customer relationships while managing multiple requirements effectively.
  • Experience in monitoring the Customer's cable system and drafting communications for distribution.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Hive, OneNote, or similar applications for managing and sharing program documentation and tracking activities.
  • Experience in a front office environment is advantageous.
