Director of Sales Operations

As a Senior Account Director of Group Sales at Sonesta International Hotels Corporation, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing team and company that is on a major growth path. Since 2020, we have seen significant expansion from 250 hotels to 1200 hotels in North America and beyond. About the Role- Sell guest rooms and meeting space within assigned accounts and segments to groups for our 4 top-performing hotels in NYC.
- Explore new sources of business by developing new contacts.
- Develop relationships with current supporters through innovative and effective strategies.
- Maintain and update the hotel's CRM system in accordance with Sonesta guidelines.
- Attend daily sales briefings, weekly revenue meetings, and monthly sales meetings.
- Organize and participate in familiarization visits, sales blitzes, entertain, and conduct other business-generating activities as required.
We offer a competitive salary of $100,000 - $112,000 per annum, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings account with company match, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid vacation and sick days, Sonesta hotel discounts, educational assistance, paid parental leave, company-paid life insurance, and more.
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience with hotel sales, preferably group sales experience of 3-5 years. A college degree is preferred, and proficiency in Outlook, Words, Excel, Teams, and PPT is required. Knowledge of Cvent, Ideas (group evaluator), and Zoom info is a plus. Fluency in English is mandatory.
