Key Responsibilities
  • Student Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student ledgers, ensuring timely posting of charges and payments.
  • Financial Transaction Coordination: Coordinate with students, parents, and university departments to resolve financial issues and ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and university constituents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with university and regulatory requirements.
  • Accounting and Reconciliation: Perform accounting and reconciliation procedures to ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions to the general ledger.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in higher education student accounting, accounting, and related activities.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Ellucian's Banner Student Account Receivables and Billing system preferred.
  • Abilities: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
