Program Insights:

The Global Risk Development Program is designed to familiarize you with Bank of America and the Global Risk Management (GRM) division. GRM serves as an essential control function, providing independent risk oversight for the organization. Its primary role is to ensure that the company adheres to its responsible growth strategy through robust risk management practices while effectively deploying capital to support business operations and enhance shareholder value. GRM is responsible for the governance and strategic direction of global risk management, including maintaining relationships with key regulatory bodies and supervisory institutions worldwide.

Our culture emphasizes accountability and compliance, requiring all employees to adhere to relevant laws, regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies and procedures. As a Global Risk Analyst, you will participate in a curriculum focused on managing our seven types of risk: strategic, market, credit, compliance, liquidity, operational, and reputational, providing a solid foundation for your career.

Your development is our priority, supported by on-the-job training, events, and mentorship opportunities. These include:

  • Bank-sponsored learning sessions covering topics such as risk management strategies, understanding the regulatory landscape, and leveraging data for insights.
  • Peer Mentorship Program.
  • Enterprise Executive Speaker Series.
  • Diversity & Inclusion Networks - LEAD for Women, Black Professional Group, LGBT+ Pride, and more.
  • Continuous Educational Speakers and Events.
  • Networking Opportunities.
  • Community Engagement Initiatives.

A Typical Day in the Program
