The Global Risk Development Program is designed to familiarize you with Bank of America and the Global Risk Management (GRM) division. GRM functions as an independent control entity that manages risk for Bank of America. A Day in the Role

The Global Risk Development Program is a two-year initiative where participants rotate through two one-year assignments within the Risk organization, with chances to engage in enterprise-critical projects as they arise. In this role, analysts collaborate with business units to assist teams in making vital business decisions to identify, manage, and mitigate risks.

Key analyst responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing and upholding effective risk management principles, policies, internal controls, and processes aimed at identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Developing and regularly updating a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, measure, monitor, and control all risk aspects.
  • Analyzing and assessing market fluctuations for frontline partners.
  • Ensuring the presence of effective risk management processes throughout the organization.
  • Presenting regulatory and reputational insights and findings to senior management.
  • Building relationships with risk executives and key stakeholders across various business lines.
  • Encouraging a culture within the organization where risk management is recognized as essential for achieving responsible growth.

Global Risk Opportunities

The Global Risk Development Program assigns analysts to teams across all seven risk categories. Rotational roles may include positions supporting various business groups, such as:

  • Global Compliance and Operational Risk
  • Enterprise Financial Risk
  • Enterprise Credit Risk
  • Global Climate Risk
  • Enterprise Independent Testing
  • Regulatory Relations, Governance, and Strategy
  • Global Markets Risk

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. Eligible candidates should have a graduation timeframe within the specified range.
  • A GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred.
