Job Summary:
The Pre-K & Clinic Assistant plays a vital role in the daily operations of our therapeutic preschool program and facility. This position collaborates closely with the administrative team, preschool lead, preschool team, and all other therapists to ensure seamless program execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the clinic, including classrooms, common spaces, and treatment rooms.
- Client Support: Assist with drop off and pick up procedures for therapeutic preschool clients.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare all preschool clients' meals throughout the day.
- Supply Management: Restock office and classroom materials as needed throughout the day and report supply needs to the Admin team.
- Organization: Organize the supply and material closets.
- Nap Time Supervision: Supervise nap time.
- Coverage Support: Step in for coverage/support team as needed, including staff late arrivals/call offs.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience working in a daycare, therapeutic facility, or related organization.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills when interacting with children and adults.
- Multi-Tasking: A strong ability to multi-task and remain focused and good-humored under pressure.
- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, experience with MS Access a plus.
- Discretion: Ability to use discretion with confidential information, as this position is exposed to information regarding families and students that must be kept confidential at all times.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical Demands: Ability to work moving and walking around continuously throughout the day.
- Lifting: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
