Job Summary

Elevation Labs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sample Testing: Conduct thorough testing of raw materials, bulk batches, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Documentation: Accurately record test results and observations, and communicate any abnormalities to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, including pH meters, viscometers, and refractometers.
  • Sample Shipping: Prepare and ship samples to customers and external testing laboratories, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Training and Development: Cross-train and learn incoming material sampling and inspection procedures, and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Stability Studies: Conduct stability studies of bulk product formulas, including scheduling test intervals, testing samples, and recording results.
  • Process Water Testing: Test process water samples according to specifications, and communicate any abnormalities to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical tasks, order laboratory supplies, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in Quality Control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic mathematical calculations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Work Environment
  • Chemical Environment: Regularly required to work in areas where chemical materials are encountered.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Regularly required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Shop Environment: May involve exposure to shop environment, including variable noise levels.
