Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Transport Team at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to our patients, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department, and regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with others to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonate to adolescent.
  • Participate in patient outcomes that meet the high standards of care provided by JHACH.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period.
  • Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

We offer a competitive salary range of $28.87 per hour to $46.20 per hour, commensurate with equity and experience.
